On August 30, the first phase of Guangxi Hongwang’s electrial steel project officially commenced construction in the Port District of Fangchenggang City.

In January 2024, Hongwang Holdings Group Co., Ltd. and Guangxi Shenglong Metallurgical Co., Ltd., formed a strategic joint venture, establishing Guangxi Hongwang New Material Technology Co., Ltd. It is a key construction project in Guangxi, focusing on the production of high-performance electrical steel and cold-rolled coated plates.

The project covers an area of over 80 acres, and is planned to develop an industrial park with an annual capacity of over 2 million tons. The first phase is designed with an annual capacity of 1.5 million tons, with a total investment of 2.145 billion RMB.

The leadership of Fangchenggang City and Port District, along with various government departments, have actively established dedicated teams to provide services for the project. HWHG and Guangxi Shenglong Metallurgical have efficiently organized project teams, ensuring high standards in planning, preparation, and execution, leading to the successful initiation of construction.

Guangxi Hongwang, leveraging strengths in raw materials, equipment, technology, energy, and logistics, is designed and constructed according to the standards of low-carbon and green principles to deliver high-quality and high-performance products. Additionally, it will contribute significantly to the development of downstream industries in the region, fostering sustainable economic and social growth.
